1-doctor small animal general practice located in Lincoln, NE. We offer a wide range of services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients, including

Job Description Job duties include, but are not limited to: This dual role as a
Veterinary Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant involves both client-facing and clinical responsibilities. You'll help maintain the visual appeal of the hospital's reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions, triage concerns, manage calls and emails, schedule appointments for optimal efficiency, and handle check-ins, check-outs, and payments.
In addition, you'll assist with patient care by restraining pets, triaging incoming cases, collecting and analyzing lab samples, performing diagnostic imaging, administering medications, and providing nursing care to hospitalized patients. Responsibilities also include communicating treatment plans effectively with clients, preparing for and assisting in surgery, and managing anesthesia.
Our team members offer compassionate emotional support to clients and must be comfortable handling a variety of medical outcomes with professionalism and empathy.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Qualifications We're looking for: - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or Veterinary Assistant preferred
- Compassionate, calm, and professional demeanor with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and capable of learning new systems quickly
- Skilled in patient restraint, sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing lab tests, radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring (a plus!)
- Self-starter with a strong desire to continue learning and advancing your skills
