Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10-hour day shifts with 1 weekday night every 4th week (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
\n• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
\n• Able to work scheduled shifts and on-call rotation
\n• Function independently during procedures after appropriate orientation and competency demonstration
\n• Assist with providing safe, age-appropriate care to patients by performing exams according to department procedures
\n• Perform procedures in IR, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-interventional settings
\n• Set up equipment to provide imaging services and position patients for procedures
\n• Prep patients for procedures and demonstrate understanding of sterile technique
\n• Prepare necessary supplies and equipment for procedures
\n• Work in conjunction with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists
\n• Verify patient ID using 2 patient identifiers and comply with preprocedural verification/time out forms
\n• Provide patient and family education including post-procedural home care instructions
\n• Maintain stock levels, complete necessary paperwork, and answer departmental phones
\n• Minimum 3 years experience in Interventional Special Procedures required
\n• Required certifications: ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS; BLS certification required
\n• ACLS certification preferred
\n• High School Diploma or GED required
\n• Must maintain current license and BLS certifications
\n• Competency required in all aspects of interventional/vascular procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
