Job Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Frankfort, IL 60423
Pay Rate: Starting at $48 per hour
Description:
Birch Agency is currently hiring a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to work with elementary students (3rd5th grade) for the 20252026 school year near Frankfort, Illinois. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs, collaborating with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure student success.
Requirements:
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education endorsement
Experience working with elementary-level students preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to create and implement IEPs effectively
