Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $140,000 to $150,000 per year.

• Manage the timely preparation of the monthly financial package, including correct consolidation and elimination accounting.
• Oversee most balance sheet reconciliations and other process controls to help ensure the reliability of the financial statements.
• Review overseas payroll reports for reasonableness, inquiring where necessary on non-recurring changes for proper authorization.
• Collaborate with the inventory accounting function to ensure reasonable valuation of month end inventory, COGS, and gross margins by product line.
• Supervise controls and accounting over Concur based travel & meals and ensure adequate safeguards over employee reimbursements, while ensuring timely payments.
• Troubleshoot operational accounting functions and postings from billing, cash application, and accounts payable.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 6+ years of relevant accounting experience from both public accounting and industry sectors
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA) preferred with CPA firm assurance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, Preferred strong knowledge of NetSuite and (CTA)

• Experience in fast-growing small manufacturing environments.
• Overseeing payroll administration support
• Strong understanding and knowledge of US GAAP
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
