Seismic Surveys is hiring an Environmental Field Technician to join our growing team in Frederick, MD . This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that values curiosity, reliability, and teamwork.
Our technicians install and maintain vibration monitoring equipment on construction, mining, and engineering projects. You’ll work both in the shop and outdoors, helping ensure our monitoring systems perform accurately and safely. Training is provided — no experience required!
What You’ll Do
Set up, test, and maintain vibration monitoring systems (we’ll train you).
Clean, organize, and repair field equipment.
Support field installations and troubleshoot technical issues.
Keep vehicles, tools, and supplies in top condition.
Travel locally or regionally as needed (some overnight trips may occur).
What You’ll Need
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, email).
Mechanical or technical aptitude — you like figuring out how things work.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Bonus: Experience in construction, environmental, or technical field work is helpful but not required.
