An interventional cardiologist provides specialized cardiovascular clinical care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, utilizing evidence-based practices. They collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to develop and coordinate personalized treatment plans. The role requires medical school graduation, board certification or eligibility in cardiology, and appropriate licensure and credentials.
The physician provides Interventional Cardiovascular clinical care in both an outpatient and inpatient setting. Follows and directs evidenced based practices as established within the Heart and Vascular service line. Collaborates and coordinates the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.
Minimum Education Requirement: Graduate of Accredited Medical School. Board certified or board eligible in cardiology.
Minimum Experience Requirement: Experience in group practice and/or hospital setting preferred. Minimum License Requirement: Current West Virginia licensure.
