We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Director with proven expertise in designing, building, and scaling data solutions. This role requires not only strong technical depth but also the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams of data engineers. You will be responsible for driving the technical strategy, design, and implementation of our data platform to enable advanced analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence across the organization. This role uniquely combines handson technical leadership with strategic thinking, requiring someone who can design and deliver solutions for today while building capabilities for tomorrows AIdriven landscape.
The Multifamily Technology supports the multifamily business by crafting and creating solutions to a variety of technology challenges. This support takes many forms, including deploying new technologies such as webbased solutions driven by AI and microservices, and maintaining critical underwriting and accounting applications.

Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and marketleading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site. This position has an annualized marketbased salary range of $203,000 - $305,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
