• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
\n \n
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.62 per Mile to $1.35 per mile based on length of trip with 1200 - 1700 Miles per Week
\n \n
• Solo Stops Pay: $24.00 per Stop with 2 - 4 Stops per Day
\n \n
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night with 1 night out per Week possibly
\n \n
• Safety Bonus: Pays You $300 Four Times A Year, Every Quarter
\n \n
• Paid Training
\n \n
• Schedule: 6 - day work week with 1 full day off during the week; Drivers work weekends & holidays
\n \n
• Start Time: Dispatch is between 9:00PM - 3:00AM
\n \n\n

• Deliver SOLO To: 500 mile radius of Pearl River, LA
\n \n
• Route: Regional - Home every day except one possible layover per week.
\n \n
• Tractor Type: Day Cab
\n \n
• Trailer Type: 53' Reefer
\n \n
• Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack
\n \n
• Freight: Touch – Grocery Items - Driver will assist with unloading at stores; strapping and securing load before leaving each stop
\n \n\n

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
\n \n
• Pass a DOT physical
\n \n
• Pass a Ryder road test
\n \n
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
\n \n
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
\n \n
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
\n \n
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
\n \n
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
\n \n
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
\n \n
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
\n \n\n

Responsibilities

\n \n\n

\n
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
\n \n
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
\n \n
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
\n \n
• Performs other duties as assigned
\n \n\n
