GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel Phlebotomist for a travel job in Livingston, Texas.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Phlebotomist for a correctional healthcare setting in Livingston, Texas. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment requiring independence, professionalism, and strong clinical skills.

Schedule & Hours:

• Shift: Days
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Work Week: Saturday – Friday (overtime calculated based on this schedule)
• Daily Schedule:
  • Monday / Tuesday / Thursday: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 2:00 AM – 10:30 AM
  • Friday: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM

Time Off (RTO):

• Must be available to work full-time for the duration of the assignment
• RTO requests must be submitted in writing and approved prior to accepting the assignment
• Approval is dependent on facility availability

Requirements:

• Nationally Certified Phlebotomist
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of current phlebotomy experience
• Ability to work independently in a correctional environment
• Thick-skinned, professional, and able to avoid workplace gossip
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
• Reliable and punctual, especially for early morning shifts

Experience Details:

• Average of 40–60 patients per day
• Exposure to all lab types within an urban population
• Must be comfortable with high-volume blood draws

Compliance & Documentation:

• TDCJ Clearance Form must be submitted with the candidate profile
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions accepted)
