ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in San Bernardino, California.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
\n• Expected to work holidays as part of permanent staff rotation
\n• First to float to Telemetry and ER for ICU holds
\n• Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• Electronic medical record system: Cerner PowerChart
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
\n• CCRN certification preferred
\n• Minimum 3 years ICU experience required (2+ years accepted from large institutions)
\n• Prior travel experience preferred
\n• BSN degree not required
\n• One day orientation on ICU and one shift on Telemetry/stepdown unit
\n• Work with vasopressors, nitro, heparin and other critical drips
\n• Experience with ventilated patients required
\n• Charge nurse responsibilities available (no patient assignment)
\n• Care for cardiac patients, PCI, sepsis, stroke, CABG, and general medical-surgical ICU cases
\n• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
\n• Emphasis on patient satisfaction with skilled, competent, and compassionate care

\nThis acute care medical center features a 44-bed licensed ICU unit currently utilizing 36 beds, providing comprehensive critical care services. The facility maintains 24/7 intensivist coverage through Sound Physician group, along with round-the-clock respiratory therapy and pharmacy services. The ICU is equipped with 44 hardwired GE monitors and provides advanced cardiac care including post-PCI, open heart recovery, and complex medical-surgical critical care. The facility emphasizes high-quality patient care and satisfaction while maintaining modern technology and comprehensive support services for critically ill patients.
