ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lees Summit, Missouri.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• 2 years of emergency room experience required with at least one full year within the past 12 months
\n• Patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts
\n• Weekend requirement: every third weekend coverage and/or 8 weekend shifts in 6-week schedule period
\n• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, PALS
\n• Previous charge experience required
\n• EPIC charting system experience required
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks
\n• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• Floating required to all emergency departments within the health system
\n• Must hold both Kansas and Missouri licenses or compact license
\n• Must be comfortable with pediatric and adult patient populations
\n• Skills required include IV therapy, phlebotomy, respiratory care, cardiac monitoring, psychiatric emergencies, and orthopedic procedures
\n• Must complete EPIC training modules, infusion pump training, and glucometer training prior to start date
\n• 10-15 hours of compliance modules required
\n• Two professional references required from the past year
Facility:
\nThis 240-bed community hospital features a 32-room emergency department that serves both adult and pediatric patients. The facility is certified for STEMI and stroke care, handling approximately 143 visits per day. The emergency department provides comprehensive emergency services with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation. The facility maintains modern equipment and follows current emergency care protocols to deliver quality patient care to the community.
