Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in Southeast Florida. This role supports multiple school settings with a focus on delivering speech therapy services to diverse student populations.

Location: Okeechobee, FL (with additional assignments in Ft. Pierce and Port St. Lucie, FL)
Assignment Duration: January 5, 2026 June 2, 2026
Schedule: Full-time and part-time positions available; schedules vary by site
Settings Include:

• Middle schools with InD units (multiple days per week)
• K-8 school with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) cluster site (part-time)
• Private school evaluation team conducting assessments at district offices (part-time)

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to independently manage caseloads and collaborate with educators and support staff
• Experience with assessments and evaluations, especially in various educational environments, is a plus
• Effective communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students with varied needs
• Conduct evaluations and assessments as needed, including speech and language screenings and comprehensive diagnostics
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain documentation and comply with district protocols
