Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) to work full-time in an elementary school setting located in Seward, NE. This contract position runs through the current school year, concluding on May 22, 2026. The role offers a consistent daily schedule, either from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:15 AM to 3:45 PM, providing stability and a focused environment without the need for travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring all mandated special education documentation is accurately completed.
• Manage a caseload of up to 20 young children in a PreK classroom setting.
• Collaborate closely with early childhood team members and families to monitor and communicate about student progress and needs.
• Participate as a member of the evaluation team to determine eligibility for early childhood special education services.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Special Education certification in Nebraska, including Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) or Early Childhood Inclusive certification.
• Experience working with early childhood populations and familiarity with special education processes and documentation.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and educational teams.

Location:

• Position is onsite at an elementary school facility situated in Seward, NE.
