Overview

Senior Managing Consultant - Hybrid / Boston, MA

Our client, an innovative organization in the life sciences sector, is seeking a Senior Managing Consultant to oversee core accounting and financial operations. This role involves leading a small team, managing key financial systems, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and treasury activities
• Manage accounting and procurement systems
• Supervise payroll processes and coordinate with external providers
• Lead and support a small finance team
• Prepare and review financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and support related deliverables

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance leadership roles
• Strong experience with ERP systems (NetSuite required; procurement systems preferred)
• Background in manufacturing or contract accounting is a plus
• Experience with payroll systems and treasury management preferred
