Base pay range

$53.00/hr - $59.00/hr

Purpose of Position:

The Security Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's security systems and protocols. This role involves monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

Minimum Formal Education:

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field required. Technical certification preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in financial systems security or related field is required.

Other Requirements:

• Must be bondable.
• Must be flexible and able to work unusual and variable hours/schedules including but not limited to evenings, weekends, etc.
• Must always be on call.
• Must be accurate, dependable and reliable.
• Excellent judgement, innovative thinking, problem solving, communication and organizational skills preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption).
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CC, SSCP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection).
• Knowledge of cloud security and best practices for securing cloud environments.
• Understanding of networking protocols and security concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
