At Galaxy ABA Therapy, we help children with developmental disabilities build meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors through evidence-based, play-based ABA therapy. Our team is dedicated to kindness, respect, and creating positive experiences for children and families.
We are hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our team! If you are compassionate, motivated, and eager to learn, wed love to meet you.
Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings
Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a BCBA
Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging
Collect data on client progress and complete session documentation
Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members
Maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment
High school diploma (required); Associates or Bachelors in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete before starting, provided by Galaxy ABA)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety
Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plusbut training is provided for the right candidate
