This role is ideal for an individual with strong analytical skills and a background in digital development who can expertly review, analyze, and respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and quote requests. As a Quote Writer, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to craft precise, competitive, and customized proposals that showcase our technical capabilities and service offerings. Key Responsibilities Review and Analyze RFPs and RFQs Thoroughly examine incoming RFPs and quote requests to understand the scope, technical requirements, deliverables, and specific needs of each client. Assess project objectives, functional requirements, and potential challenges to create a comprehensive understanding of the client’s needs. Develop Technical and Pricing Proposals Draft detailed, accurate, and compelling proposals that effectively communicate our technical solutions, project approach, timelines, and pricing. Work closely with project managers, developers, and sales teams to ensure alignment between the proposed solutions and the company’s capabilities. Collaborate with Cross‑Functional Teams Engage with internal technical experts to obtain precise information on project specifications, timelines, and resources. Work alongside marketing and sales teams to ensure proposals align with brand positioning and client engagement strategies. Maintain Knowledge of Industry Standards Stay informed about the latest in website development technology, industry standards, and client preferences to enhance proposal accuracy and relevance. Regularly update knowledge of competitors’ offerings to enhance competitive positioning in proposals. Monitor and Refine Proposal Processes Track success rates and effectiveness of proposals, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and win rates. Maintain a repository of standard responses, templates, and success stories to improve efficiency and consistency. Required Qualifications Experience : 3-5 years in a technical writing, quoting, or proposal management role within the website development or digital services sector. Technical Proficiency : Strong understanding of web development processes, languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.), and related tools. Analytical Skills : Ability to critically analyze client needs, assess technical requirements, and identify the optimal solutions. Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Attention to Detail : Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when handling multiple quotes and deadlines simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of SEO, UI/UX principles, and web analytics tools. Familiarity with CRM and proposal software (e.g., Salesforce, RFPIO).
