IT Manager | Grand Haven, MI

Salary Range: $97,000 - $144,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure, systems, and operational technology (OT) in a manufacturing environment.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of production systems, networks, and data.
• Develop, implement, and enforce robust cybersecurity measures for IT and OT assets.
• Oversee IT service delivery, user support, and helpdesk operations for all departments.
• Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement processes.
• Lead IT strategic planning, budgeting, and project implementation aligned with business goals.
• Drive IT initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, automation, and data analytics.

Recommended Qualifications

• Direct experience managing IT infrastructure and operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency with manufacturing-specific IT systems, including ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MES, and SCADA.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and OT/IT convergence in an industrial setting.
• Proven ability to develop IT strategies, lead complex projects, and manage cross-functional teams.
• Experience in IT budget management, vendor relations, and contract negotiation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and IT/OT convergence.
• Familiarity with manufacturing-specific software (e.g., MES, SCADA, PLM).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI/ML in manufacturing).
• Understanding of supply chain management systems (WMS, SCM) in a manufacturing context.
