Position Overview We're seeking a
licensed and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Specialist to join our mission-driven team in Redlands, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with
1-2 years of experience in
group benefits administration, insurance account coordination, or client services in a related field. You'll provide essential support to our Benefits Account Managers and ensure our clients receive outstanding service and support.
Key Responsibilities - Support Account Managers during busy periods, open enrollment, and coverage transitions
- Respond to client inquiries regarding benefits coverage, claims, and policy updates
- Manage client data across platforms such as Ease, Applied EPIC, and Health Connect
- Process ID card requests, provider searches, and employee eligibility updates
- Maintain accurate and compliant records in the agency management system
- Collaborate with producers, account managers, and leadership to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Stay informed on industry changes and compliance standards (ACA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Perform general administrative and client service duties as needed
Required Qualifications - Active California Life Insurance License
- Active California Accident & Health or Sickness Insurance License
- 1-2 years of experience in employee benefits, group insurance, or agency support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Ease, Applied EPIC, and Health Connect is a strong plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and customer-focused
- Ability to work full-time in-person at our Redlands office
