West Texas Premix pits is currently seeking an experienced HSE coordinator/ manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe workspace culture amongst the company
• Hold regular safety meetings in large groups or smaller tailgate meetings
• Monitor a drug screening program
• Handle case management for incidents
• Conduct Investigations, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Routine inspections of employees and equipment in the field
• Work with management to achieve safety goals
• Communicate safety needs of customers
• Manage our standings in customer portals (ISnet, Pec, etc.)
• Create handbooks
• Certify employees in customer required classes (H2S, Safeland, basin)

Requirements

• 3 year experience in the safety field
• Electrical knowledge (preferred but not necessary)
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate needs from employees and management on customer and company needs.
• Computer Skills: Basic knowledge such as word, excel, etc. (Experience with a digital safety software is a plus)
• Valid Driver License
• Bilingual (preferred)
