Job Title: Director Storyteller/Creative Director, Luxury Division

Location: Hudson Yards, New York City

Reports To: AVP, Digital Content, Luxury Division

What You Will Do:

  • Elevate Visual Storytelling: Partner with a team of internal experts and external agencies to connect offline and online environments through:
    • Big ideas
    • Creative strategies
    • E-Commerce content (Amazon, D2C, e-Retail)
    • Media content
  • Strategic Content Direction: Contribute to content strategy and creative consistency on LUXE brands across all e-commerce channels (D2C, Amazon, e-Retail) in a way that challenges the status quo and elevates our look and feel. Oversee the development and execution of engaging content strategies across all platforms, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and marketing plans. Provide leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of creative excellence and data-driven optimization. Develop agency relationships, upskill current partners and continually audit to maintain best-in-class output.
  • Trend Identification & Competitive Benchmarking: Leverage insights reports, market analysis, competitive research, and a nuanced understanding of social, cultural, and beauty trends to identify impactful e-commerce content opportunities. Guide the team in translating insights into on-brand content for e-commerce channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead collaborative brainstorming sessions for campaign planning with brand and Content Excellence teams, ensuring alignment of content strategies across all marketing initiatives. Be prepared to expertly write and review creative briefs for maximum efficiencies and impact. Support Content Directors by contributing to pre-production, production & post-production for photoshoots ensuring strategic cohesion.
  • Social Media Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of social media trends, with an eye on competitive and emerging brands. Guide the team in leveraging these insights to enhance content creation.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 8-10 years in content production and management
  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing projects independently
  • Shows a high level in content creation, creative thinking, and consumer understanding
  • Brings a high level of technical and editing technique knowledge
  • Has proven experience shooting and editing middle-funnel e-retail photos and video.
  • Has proven experience in e-commerce content strategy and development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience using Adobe Creative Cloud Platforms

Salary Range [New York]: $138,500-$200,800 base salary (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
