Job Description

Ring is seeking an innovative Demand Planning Manager to help lead our AI transformation journey within our device portfolio planning. We're looking for a forward-thinking leader who can help us revolutionize our demand planning processes by implementing AI solutions. Key job responsibilities
-Spearhead the evaluation, design and implementation of AI-powered demand planning solutions
-Drive innovation in our forecasting processes through the exploration and adoption of machine learning and predictive analytics
-Pioneer the development of AI-enhanced tools and methodologies to transform traditional demand planning approaches
-Build and implement AI-based analytics dashboards and reporting systems
-Manage end-to-end demand planning processes for our core devices
-Drive the forecasting of new product launches and maintain phase-in/phase-out processes
-Serve as a subject matter expert for overall demand planning, pricing, promotional planning, and in-stock/retailer demand
-Own and communicate the global demand plan to stakeholders
-Lead continuous improvement initiatives for key demand planning performance indicators
-Support S&OP process implementation through reporting, analytics and monthly meeting facilitation

A day in the life
You will serve as the demand planning POC for your assigned device programs. Further, you will own, shape and refine your demand plans based on insights from key product, category, sales and retail teams. Along with day-to-day operations, you will be heavily involved in long-range planning objectives, the drafting of documentation needed to substantiate monthly purchasing decisions to leadership, the management of new product introductions and a critical liaison in the S&OP process.

About the team
The mission of our planning organization is to deliver quality forecasts, supply plans and allocation plans to ensure customers are able to purchase the product they want, when and where they want it. You will own and manage the worldwide planning for specific programs of Ring devices. This position requires the ability to think critically, manage without authority and leverage a broad cross-functional organization of business teams. This role is highly visible throughout the organization and will lead the management/generation of large-scale demand plans that are presented to senior leaders and C-level executives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- 2+ years of experience in an operations-based, Demand Planning role (note: retail planning experience is not the same as demand planning experience).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience supporting accounting/finance customers to set and effectively manage expectations, project deliverables, and drive resolution when conflicts or issues arise
- Proficient in AI prompting/AI-leveraged analytics.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
