Pay Rate: $ 21 per hour (DOE)

What's a typical day as an Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk? You'll be:

• Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including payment posting, processing of customer payments received via check, credit card, or auto-pay.
• Contacts auto-pay customers with expired or declined credit cards to re-process payment and updating customer records.
• Sends statements, invoices, and credit memos to customers via electronic or USPS mail.
• Sends notices to past-due customers and places accounts on hold.
• Assists with contacting customers to update their "remit to" address, collections on very past-due accounts, and an accounts payable function that is customer-specific.
• Participates in business-related projects and activities upon request of management.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of accounts payable and receivable experience with general understanding of basic accounting concepts
• Proficient computer skills with common business applications including email and Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
• Strong attention to detail and customer service oriented.
• Must be able to multi-task
